New Startup Incubator and Entrepreneur Training Center to Launch in Downtown Twin Falls
Twin Falls, Idaho – Local Twin Falls business, Desert Creative Group, and the South Central
Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Office have joined forces to develop resources
further and create a community for entrepreneurs that are in the early stages of planning their
startups.
Downtown Wheelhouse will be located at 164 Main Ave N in Twin Falls above Mi Tierra. It will
be a multi-use space offering regular business literacy training workshops and will be the home of
a group of entrepreneurs incubating their startups to become launch-ready. During their incubation
cycle, these businesses will receive mentorship, training, and a wide range of professional services
to fine-tune their strategy, product, business model, branding, and investor pitch. The South
Central SBDC office will provide support through access to their existing business services and
highly-qualified trainers.
“The process an entrepreneur goes through from crafting a business idea to becoming launch-ready is a long, lonely journey for most,” stated Janeale Dean, Desert Creative Group’s Owner and Principal Consultant. “The idea of Downtown Wheelhouse is to provide critical training to our current local businesses and to create an environment for entrepreneurs to develop the strongest possible launch plan for their new business. But it’s more than just about the entrepreneurs – it’s also about continuing innovation and regional prosperity for Southern Idaho.”
Downtown Wheelhouse will start offering in-person and virtual training workshops before the end
of the year and will launch the startup incubator in early 2023. The first workshop will take place virtually,
on December 27th, at 9:30a. It is open for any small business owner or entrepreneur to attend.
