Desert Creative Group Founder, Janeale Dean, Awarded “2023 Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year” by The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Boise, Idaho District.
Twin Falls, Idaho– With the nomination from Susie Rios, the Executive Director of Programs for the Idaho Women’s Business Center, The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded Janeale Dean of Desert Creative Group, 2023 Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year for Idaho’s Boise District.
Janeale Dean began her entrepreneurial journey in April 2017 when she founded Desert Creative Group. Desert Creative Group began as a full-service creative and marketing agency servicing local, state, national, and international clients providing consulting and services centered around strategic marketing, campaign planning, and creative development. Through the years, Desert Creative Group has expanded its offerings to be able to help build the infrastructure businesses need to scale also to include: business development, team building and training, sales and distribution development, data management and insights, and more.

Janeale is also passionate about utilizing her skills and expertise to give back to communities and has served on the City of Twin Falls’ Public Art Commission, the Professional Advisory Committee Board for Northwest College of Art and Design, the Leadership Council for the National Small Business Association, and several nonprofits’ board of directors. In 2022, she teamed up with the South Central Small Business Development Center to develop and launch Downtown Wheelhouse, an entrepreneur training center and startup incubator, to provide critical resources, mentorship, and community to businesses.
